With nearly 20 years of experience as a social worker, educator and workplace diversity specialist, combined with a full family life, Marjie lives, eats and breathes the joys and challenges of balancing family, career, ambition, and community.
Prior to launching Marjie Terry Coaching, Marjie spent six years as VP of Client Service at communication training and leadership development firm Great on the Job. In this role, Marjie focused on developing and delivering industry- and organization-specific professional development programs to enable employees to expertly navigate and excel in their professional lives.
Earlier in her career, Marjie worked at Goldman Sachs as a recruiter and diversity specialist, focusing on recruiting, training, promotion and retention efforts to increase diversity at all levels of the firm.
Marjie also served as the Program Coordinator for Freedom Institute in New York City, leading health and wellness workshops, as well as coordinating programming with over 60 independent schools in New York City.
Marjie holds a master's degree in social work from Hunter College and received her undergraduate degree from Northwestern University’s School of Education and Social Policy. Marjie's advanced coach training is through Coaches Training Institute.
